This non-guest-facing opportunity is great for families, teenagers, or anyone with limited mobility. The tasks include but are not limited to, bringing donation bins in, sorting through incoming clothing and hygiene items, folding and rolling clothing, labeling items, organizing items into the appropriate bins, and restocking the resource room.
Dress Code: All volunteers must wear long pants (no leggings), a shirt with sleeves, and closed-toed shoes.
First-Time Volunteers: When you arrive, check in at the Volunteer Check-In station. Wait for your name tag to print (may take 10-15 seconds) and put any bags or purses into a locker. Once you are checked in with your items put away, you can head upstairs to the Warehouse and report to Zane or Courtney.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain standing for a minimum of one hour
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Physical ability to climb two flights of stairs
- Able to bend, stoop, or kneel as needed.
