OurCommunity Meal Train

OurCommunity Residents started moving in on Saturday, February 14th. This was the start of a phased opening, with more residents moving in over the following weeks. 

Because caring for our neighbors with dignity is central to our mission, move-in day will be a private day for our residents. Many are stepping into a home after long seasons of trauma and instability, and while this moment is joyful, it can also feel overwhelming. For that reason, move-in is not open to the public.

We are excited to invite you to care for our residents by providing a meal. Currently, we have the following dates and meals open for you to claim:

Before filling out the form below, please understand the following requirements: 

  1. You must provide food for at least 15 people. 
  2. Meals must follow a heart-healthy diet, have a lactose-free and shellfish-free option. 
  3. You must be able to deliver the meal to OurCommunity (231 Wickliffe Rd, Ferris, TX 75125) on time. 
    • Lunch and Dinner must be delivered by 11:45 AM 
  4. Disposable containers are preferred. We cannot guarantee personal containers will be returned. 
  5. Meals can be catered in, ordered from a restaurant, or cooked at home. 
  6. There is no need to bring serving utensils. 

Meal Suggestions:

  • Chicken, Veggies, Rice or Potatoes 
  • Quesadilla or any Sandwich
  • Chili, Soup or Salad
  • Hot dogs or Hamburgers
  • Spaghetti or any Pasta
