Who We Are
OurCalling helps our unsheltered homeless neighbors walk with Jesus and get off the streets.
Every day we ask two questions: “Will you trust the Lord?” and “Can we help you off the streets?”
Everything we do at OurCalling is rooted in our “3 C’s”: Caring with Dignity, Connecting Intentionally, and Creating Healthy Community
What We Do
During high Texas summer temperatures, OurCalling operates as a Cooling Center for our guests, staying open until 8 PM whenever the heat index is over 105º. On these days, we will not be giving out resources as usual after our normal business hours, but will focus on serving dinner and keeping people out of the extreme heat. We're inviting a small number of volunteers to help us create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for anyone seeking relief and a cool place to rest.
